Aesthetic and functional, future-proof technology
At Light + Building 2026, Dornbracht and JUNG introduce a new collaboration that brings together fittings, switches, and sockets through a unified material concept. Under the motto “Signature Design. Crafted in Finishes,” both brands combine their expertise in metal craftsmanship and architectural detailing to create coordinated surfaces across interior elements.
The partnership launches with Brushed Bronze, a brushed real-metal finish developed to visually and tactilely connect JUNG’s LS switch ranges with Dornbracht’s fittings collections. Designed as a shared architectural interface, the surface creates a cohesive aesthetic language across kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces, while further coordinated finishes are set to follow.
Consistency Across Trades
Architects and interior designers are increasingly seeking continuity between fixtures, fittings, controls, and materials. However, combining products from different manufacturers often results in subtle variations in tone, texture, and finish. DORNBRACHT x JUNG addresses this challenge through a harmonized surface system that simplifies specification while elevating the overall spatial experience.
By aligning materials and production processes, the collaboration supports a more holistic design approach, one where switches and fittings are conceived not as isolated objects, but as connected architectural elements.
Metal as an Architectural Material
Brushed metal finishes continue to shape contemporary interiors, bringing warmth, depth, and tactility into residential and hospitality environments. Bronze, brass, and copper tones increasingly replace neutral standard surfaces, enabling more expressive and enduring design concepts.
Both companies draw on decades of expertise in metal processing. Dornbracht’s experience in refining premium surfaces through advanced techniques such as PVD technology meets JUNG’s longstanding heritage in manufacturing switches and sockets from real metal. To ensure a precise visual match, JUNG’s LS series components are coated directly at the DORNBRACHT production facility.
The result is a consistent finish across products, with aligned color tones, textures, and material qualities.
Brushed Bronze: The First Shared Finish
For the launch, the new Brushed Bronze finish is available across selected Dornbracht fittings and the complete JUNG LS 990 design range. The surface combines the authentic appearance of brushed bronze with the durability and precision required for high-use architectural applications.
Further coordinated metal finishes are already in development and will be presented during Milan Design Week 2026.
With DORNBRACHT x JUNG, both brands propose a new perspective on interior design — one in which material continuity and cross-brand collaboration contribute to a more integrated architectural experience.
