LED Glass Wall and Floor in FLOW Loksite | ASB

ASB GlassFloor is a specialist in LED glass surfaces and digital flooring systems, developing immersive architectural solutions that transform spaces into interactive, media-driven environments. An LED glass wall and interactive LED floor from ASB GlassFloor were installed at FLOW Loksite, a flexible office and event space located in Mannheim, Germany.

FLOW Loksite is the third location of the flexible office provider FLOW, situated in Mannheim's Glückstein district, close to the city's main train station and at the entrance to its business district. The project called for work and event spaces that were both visually impressive and highly adaptable, following a booking model aligned with traditional meeting room logic, where users can add the immersive environment as needed and connect it seamlessly to adjacent conference areas. The brief challenged ASB GlassFloor to deliver a room where cutting-edge technology would feel like an organic part of the architecture rather than an add-on.

The installation combines a 3.20-meter-high, 6.56-meter-wide LED glass wall with a 2.5 mm pixel pitch and an interactive LED floor spanning 5 by 6.5 meters with a 3.9 mm pixel pitch, totaling more than 50 square meters of active display area. The wall handles keynotes, live feeds and product demos, while the floor supports branding, wayfinding visuals and interactive elements. A custom ASB tracking system enables responsive content, from motion design to real-time data visualization. During the opening event, sponsor logos were displayed on the floor as presentations ran on the wall—a demonstration of how quickly the space can shift between presentation, interaction and consulting scenarios.
