The spiral staircase is one of architecture's most enduring typologies — a form that resolves the challenge of vertical circulation within a minimal floor footprint while generating a powerful aesthetic presence. Siller Treppen's spiral stair systems move beyond the conventional by approaching each commission as a design object: the central column, the sweep of the treads, and the railing profile are all considered as elements of a coherent sculptural whole rather than off-the-shelf components assembled on site.
Siller's spiral staircases are available across a wide range of material combinations — structural steel columns with oak treads, all-steel open-grating configurations, glass balustrades paired with timber handrails, or mono-material expressions in painted steel. The central column diameter, tread depth, and overall rise-to-diameter ratio are all calculated per project to meet both ergonomic requirements and spatial constraints. Bespoke CNC fabrication ensures that every weld, joint, and surface finish is executed to the same standard as Siller's larger custom commissions.
In practice, spiral stairs from Siller are specified where floor area is premium but design quality cannot be compromised — penthouse apartments, compact urban dwellings, commercial mezzanines, and residential lofts. Their compact geometry makes them particularly effective in buildings where structural openings between floors are restricted, yet a feature staircase remains a design ambition.
