Since 1877, barth has created bespoke interior solutions for jewelers, boutiques, museums, company headquarters, private residences, and hospitality spaces around the world. Custom-made furniture and interior components from barth were used in the Verstappen.com headquarters, a coworking and office space located in Den Bosch, the Netherlands, designed by Studio Milani.
The Verstappen.com headquarters in Den Bosch is the operational base of the company founded by Jos Verstappen, father of Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen. Designed by Siena-based Studio Milani, the project called for a bespoke interior that would reflect the precision and identity of the brand while creating a functional, high-quality working environment. The brief demanded a fully custom approach—each element conceived as an integral part of the architectural concept rather than a standalone object—unified by a restrained material palette and a consistent design language across all areas of the space.

barth's scope encompassed a wide range of bespoke furniture and custom interior elements, developed to balance functionality with material refinement. A custom wardrobe with sliding doors and a library unit—composed of a blackened steel structure with a softly rounded back, vertical brass dividers, and an integrated storage cabinet—establish the material identity of the space from the outset. The recurring contrast between blackened steel and brass subtly defines different programmatic zones throughout the interior.
At the heart of the coworking areas, a C-shaped table clad in brass on the exterior and blackened steel on the interior functions as both a spatial anchor and a primary workspace, complemented by an oval lamp with matching blackened steel cladding. Kitchen areas continue this approach, combining manually foldable doors, base cabinets, and wall-mounted upper cabinets set within niches, their brass-finished exterior surfaces maintaining continuity with the adjoining work and lounge areas. In the lounge, blackened steel structures are paired with laminate surfaces and upholstered seating to create a comfortable yet clearly articulated environment.

Further bespoke elements include a U-shaped lounge table in black anodized aluminum, a specialized coworking table with curved backrests for informal interaction, and U-shaped telephone booths externally clad in black anodized aluminum and internally upholstered for acoustic comfort. Dark glass swing doors give these enclosed spaces a discreet presence within the open office layout. In the conference area, a large table with legs in black anodized aluminum supports a clear tempered glass top, combining visual lightness with structural precision. A second library unit with rounded back panels in black anodized aluminum and integrated storage reinforces the project's emphasis on continuity and exactitude across every detail.
