Casa FFF is a private residential project realized in Trento, in the Trentino-Alto Adige region of northern Italy, designed by local architecture studio Pallaoro Balzan e Associati. The project called for a fully integrated interior in which all architectural and built elements would be conceived as a single, cohesive system—each component developed in close relation to the others, reinforcing spatial clarity and architectural coherence rather than treating individual elements in isolation. The result is an interior defined by restraint, precision, and a consistent material logic across every detail.

barth was responsible for the execution of the key interior elements, coordinated as an interconnected whole. The staircase serves as the spatial anchor of the interior—conceived not only as a functional connector between levels but as a defining architectural element whose placement, materiality, and detailing structure the sequence of the home. Interior doors and glazing are seamlessly integrated into the architectural framework, with flush transitions and clean lines that maintain visual continuity throughout. Glass partitions with integrated doors articulate distinct functional zones while preserving transparency and spatial openness, and hinged panels introduce flexibility with a restrained, minimal presence.

Custom-built furniture plays a fundamental role across the residence. Bespoke solutions for the library, kitchen, and bathrooms are designed in direct dialogue with the surrounding architecture, ensuring a consistent material language and clear functional logic at every scale. The wine cellar is conceived as both a technically controlled storage environment and an atmospheric architectural element—balancing performance requirements with a carefully considered spatial presence. Across all components, the project reflects barth's holistic approach to interior execution: technically resolved, materially consistent, and visually coherent from the broadest spatial gesture to the finest detail.
