Impact Acoustic is a Swiss manufacturer of acoustic solutions and materials engineered for performance and circular design. Edge Bespoke ceiling baffles, Round ceiling panels, Facet wall coverings, Spark acoustic pendants, and Bysso acoustic ceiling lighting from Impact Acoustic were used in the AO Foundation workspace, located in Zizers, Switzerland.
The AO Foundation is a non-profit global organization of health practitioners specializing in musculoskeletal treatments, founded by Swiss surgeons and home to medical experts from around the world united by a commitment to improving patient care. The Zizers workspace was designed by Anja Pleyer of howdoyoulive.ch with the intent to bring the surrounding Alpine landscape into the interior. The project draws on the natural environment of the Grisons region—its snow-capped peaks, forested valleys, and open skies—as the conceptual basis for a workspace designed to feel calm, restorative, and grounded in its setting.

Over the conference areas, the Edge Bespoke ceiling baffle—developed using Impact Acoustic's Computational Design capability—takes the form of angular peaks that echo the snow-capped mountains visible from the building. Round ceiling panels, customized as integrated lighting elements, punctuate the session rooms as luminous forms referencing clouds above the hilltops. Facet wall coverings bring geometric depth to the vertical surfaces, while fir tree installations throughout the space further reinforce the connection to the surrounding forest. Spark pendant luminaires in Ice Blue, Snow White, and Winter Sky provide cool, characterful light in the meeting spaces, complementing the mountain-inspired palette. In the workstation areas, Bysso acoustic ceiling lighting delivers high-performance, glare-free task illumination. Lighting calculations across the project were completed in partnership with Prolicht.
