Gres Aragón is a Spanish manufacturer of extruded ceramic products for ventilated facades, specializing in high-performance cladding systems for architectural applications. Faveker GA16 ceramic pieces from Gres Aragón were used in the Alcañiz Hospital, located in Teruel, Spain. The pieces were installed as part of a ventilated facade system on this new-build hospital, developed following strict technical criteria for durability, hygiene, and energy efficiency in a healthcare environment.

The Alcañiz Hospital incorporates GA16 ceramic pieces in warm beige and metallic colors, with an 18 mm thickness and variable dimensions in height (300 mm, 400 mm, and 500 mm) and length (1000 mm, 1200 mm, and 1500 mm). Installation is carried out using the FTS 502B concealed mechanical fixing system, ensuring stability and uniformity across the facade. The variability in piece dimensions allows the system to adapt to the building's geometry, providing a dynamic texture that blends functionality with aesthetic value.

The building was designed by EACSN Estudio de Arquitectura in collaboration with the Aragonese Health Service of the Government of Aragon. This partnership made it possible to optimize all phases of construction, ensuring the facade meets the most demanding standards for a modern hospital. The contractor responsible for execution was UTE of Aragonesa de Obras Civiles and Mariano López Navarro, ensuring precision in the placement and finish of each piece.

Faveker GA16 ceramic pieces offer multiple functional benefits for healthcare facilities. Their high resistance and ease of maintenance make them ideal for this type of environment, while their thermal and acoustic insulation properties contribute to the comfort of both patients and staff. The combination of neutral and metallic tones enhances natural lighting and provides a modern appearance consistent with a high-quality medical center. The ventilated system improves temperature regulation and protects the cavity against moisture, supporting the building's overall energy efficiency.
GA16 ceramics, manufactured according to sustainable criteria, help reduce the environmental impact of construction, offering an efficient and environmentally responsible architectural solution. The facade has been seamlessly integrated into the overall project, delivering a robust technical solution that meets the demands of a modern hospital.
