Since 1993, AXOR has collaborated with world-leading designers to transform the bathroom into a space of personal luxury and refined water experiences. AXOR Incava, designed by Antonio Citterio, is a recessed shower control unit that integrates thermostatic control, a concealed hand shower, and a storage niche into a single architectural object. Disappearing into the wall to just 11 mm of protrusion, the unit brings full focus to the shower experience.

AXOR Incava takes the form of a soft-square escutcheon with a smooth, flat front. The thermostatic module presents surface-level buttons for function selection alongside two push-out knobs with knurled grips—one governing water volume, the other temperature, with built-in SafetyStop technology that initially restricts water temperature to 40°C. The integrated 1jet hand shower rests flush with the control panel surface and releases via a push mechanism, delivering a PowderRain spray. The storage niche, 10 cm deep, includes a discreet drainage solution and optional ambient lighting compatible with dimmer solutions; an optional black glass shelf is also available. The escutcheon, niche backplate, and control symbols can each be specified individually in AXOR FinishPlus surfaces, with further customization—including symbol changes—available through AXOR Signature.

AXOR Incava comprises a finish set and a basic set, each available in two- or three-function configurations, with or without ambient lighting. The finish set is detachable for easy maintenance access to the basic set. Functions are freely assignable to any compatible AXOR shower or bath component. The finish set is available in standard Chrome or in AXOR FinishPlus surfaces; the storage niche backplate can be finished to match the surrounding wall for fully seamless integration. Compatible with all AXOR collections and programs.
