ALVIC is a Spanish company with a global presence and a leading manufacturer and distributor of panels and furniture components for the furniture and interior design industry.
ALVIC supplied materials for the renovation of one of the Van der Valk hotels in Lelystad, with decorative high-gloss and supermatt lacquered panels. With a history dating back to 1862, when the Gouden Leeuw café in Voorschoten opened its doors, the Van der Valk chain has established itself as the flagship hotel in the Netherlands. Today, with almost a hundred hotels, the brand represents a fusion of tradition and modernity.
The interior design integrates ALVIC materials, selected to support both the functional requirements of hospitality spaces and the visual identity of the brand. The project incorporates finishes that balance durability with a calm and cohesive interior palette suitable for contract, high-end, and high-traffic environments.
The Zenit Verde Salvia finish introduces a soft, natural tone that contributes to a sense of calm within guest and common areas, while Zenit Cotto, with its supermatt surface, provides visual warmth and material consistency across furniture and wall elements.
Complementing these finishes, Luxe Porcelain 01 Gold adds a reflective surface that enhances light distribution and creates focal points within reception and shared spaces. Together, these materials support a coordinated interior language that aligns with the operational demands of contemporary hotel environments.
The renovation reflects an approach to hospitality design that combines durability, comfort, and material coherence, supporting long-term performance while reinforcing the identity of the hotel brand.
