Cerámica Mayor develops high-performance porcelain stoneware for swimming pools and terraces. Lao Bone porcelain stoneware from Cerámica Mayor was used in Casa Oliveta, a residential villa project located in Benimantell, Spain. The application focuses on an indoor pool area that combines traditional architecture with contemporary materials.
Casa Oliveta is a restored villa situated in the center of Benimantell, incorporating an indoor pool within a former agricultural structure. The project preserves original architectural elements such as stone walls and arches, creating a dialogue between historic construction and modern intervention. The design emphasizes comfort, material authenticity, and spatial atmosphere, transforming the space into a calm and intimate environment.

Lao Bone tiles in 60×120 cm format were applied throughout the indoor pool to create a continuous surface with a limestone-inspired appearance. The anti-slip porcelain stoneware enhances safety in wet conditions while maintaining a refined aesthetic. The use of trims softens edges and transitions, reinforcing comfort and usability. The large-format tiles contribute to a sense of solidity and spatial clarity, resulting in a cohesive and durable pool environment.
