Guarantee
Guarantees: 10-year haze-free guarantee on Pilkington Pyrodur® and Pilkington Pyrostop®
Pilkington UK, part of the NSG Group, manufactures float, coated, laminated and processed glass for architectural and technical applications. Pilkington offers a range of fire-resistant glass that keeps escape routes and compartments protected while preserving visibility and daylight. The products cover integrity-only requirements as well as full insulation against radiant heat, from 30 up to 180 minutes depending on the construction.
Fire Classifications
Fire-resistant glazing is classified by integrity (E), which prevents the passage of flames and hot gases; by radiation control (EW); and by insulation (EI), which also limits the temperature on the unexposed side. The required class depends on the position of the glazing and the local fire regulations.
