Call for Articles and Cover Design Competition for Revista Ímpeto No. 11.
Revista Ímpeto is an annual publication organized by the Tutorial Education Program (PET) of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Alagoas. It features informative and reflective texts related to architecture and the city. In 2021, the eleventh edition of Ímpeto is structured around a thematic track, which aims to contribute to the debate on the theme: "Healthy Cities: urgencies, perspectives, and confrontations," and an Open Track, a space dedicated to diverse publications in architecture, urbanism, and related fields.

Inspired by the power of the connections that unite and drive us, the awards night will reveal the names of the standout architecture and design professionals of 2020 across different regions of the country. The Training for Technical Assistance in Social Interest Land Regularization course, supported by the Council of Architecture and Urbanism of São Paulo (CAU/SP), is a free program that fulfills the requirements of Public Call 006/2020, including providing training for 300 professionals with active CAU registration.

d.talks Share Your Story workshop on June 24th, 6:30-8 p.m. is an opportunity for us to celebrate our sense of place as a means to rebuild community. In this workshop, we will extend our ongoing conversation on place and memory and turn our memories about place into mini stories.

The World Monuments Fund/Knoll Modernism Prize recognizes outstanding achievements in saving buildings emblematic of the groundbreaking modern movement that swept across the globe during the twentieth century. World Monuments Fund (WMF) established the biennial award in 2008 with founding sponsor Knoll to honor individuals and organizations that have revitalized modern built heritage through innovative architectural solutions. This year, the prize will recognize a project showcasing excellence in environmental sustainability and preservation that has a positive economic and community impact. “The Urban Rhetoric” is a bi-annual initiative by Innovature Research and Design Studio [IRDS] to create a platform for discussion and act as a catalyst in recreating the future of urbanism and urban development in India. We aim to do so with the help of an academic magazine with essays that inspire the agenda for future urbanism.

Art Park Nikola-Lenivets (Russia, Kaluga region) announces an international competition for the best concept of an art object for Maslenitsa 2022. Artists, architects, designers, directors, programmers and all creative people are invited to participate. The winner's prize — 100,000 rubles (including taxes). The deadline for applications is June 6.

The first issue of 2021 picks up where the first issue of 2020 left off, with both editions tied to the "Introduction to Design Knowledge" course at the National University of La Matanza.

Europan is a competition of ideas followed by implementation processes open to professionals of the architectural, urban and landscape design under 40 years of age. 9 European countries proposing 40 sites are participating to the Europan 16 edition on a common theme: Living Cities – Metabolic Vitalities / Inclusive Vitalities.
