El Asunto Urbano, in collaboration with Proyector, presents the second edition of the Art and City Salon, a space for the intersection of architecture and the visual arts. The exhibition showcases projects and works primarily focused on themes related to architecture, urbanism, and landscape, featuring architects and visual artists inspired by the social, economic, and technological landscape of contemporary cities.

Following the conclusion of the first and second cycles of Viernes de Fábrica, which brought together over 1,000 students, architects, and professors from 20 countries over the course of 20 weeks, the belief that academia must now, more than ever, be linked to social issues to create School+Community projects is reaffirmed. Fábrica de Ciudad extends an invitation to continue exploring new ways to strengthen this exchange. We are pleased to announce the third cycle of Viernes de Fábrica, the final installment of the year, which will take place from October 16 to December 4.

The CAP Regional Lima is hosting the panel discussion "The Human Future of Lima," featuring Jorge Alonso, Manuel de Rivero, and Carlos Ramirez.

In the lecture "Seeking Pertinent Systems," Edna Garza and Darío Camisay, directors of the Monterrey, Mexico-based architecture and design firm Garza Camisay Arquitectos, will share the unique story behind each of their projects. This narrative will focus on uncovering the architectural system selected for each work. The "search for pertinence" is a constant in every project—a filter that allows these systems to be understood as a consequence rather than an objective.

As part of the activities for Design Week Mexico 2020, the annual edition of Design House opened its doors on October 7th, offering an experience of creative spaces featuring style and trends in architecture, landscape design, design, and interior design, breathing new life into a residential building to transform it into the masterpiece of the year.

The Oscar Niemeyer Award for Latin American Architecture, or ON Award, was established as an initiative of the Latin American Architecture Biennials Network (REDBAAL), founded in Quito through a constitutive act signed on November 23, 2012, during the XVIII Pan-American Architecture Biennial of Quito (BAQ 2012).
