The Yekaterinburg office of the Yandex Company occupies the fifteenth floor of a new business center called Palladium. The building's plan is nearly a horseshoe shape in form and consequently the office space is concentrated around the vertical circulation systems centrally located. Following the break are more photographs, plan, and write-up about the Yandex design. Dynamic volumes and expressive furniture helped to successfully convey the concept of a prompt exponential Yandex development. The materials of wood and cork were chosen and stack partitions with a thin profile line the corridors. Low ceilings have been visually made higher in the corridor as well. Due to the Yandex office culture the design was not limited to the traditional working zones. Large and small conference rooms are accompanied with a sports hall, kitchen, coffee stations, and chamber communication ‘cells’ - spaces singled out from the corridor volume with the use of partitions.
