Since man first figured out how to dig a hole, we have been harvesting the natural treasures of the earth and using stone for our buildings and arts. With such a long history, it’s easy to forget how much research, innovation and technology infuses the stone industry - breathing new life into the possibilities provided by this material that is millions of years old.
This Stone from Spain event explores how we can harness the full potential of modern dimensional stone.
The evening includes a materials showcase, CEU, and networking over tapas and cava.
Event speakers include:
Ignacio Fernandez Solla, renown Spanish architect and a specialist in building facades and exteriors. An expert in the stone construction technology in Spanish architecture.
William Menking, architect and editor-in-chief of The Architect’s Newspaper, an architectural magazine which promotes the Facades+ Conference, a forum which analyzes the design and construction of building facades and exteriors.
Acting as moderator, Consultant Ryan Fasan, an expert in the Spanish industry and a specifier of the product.
