The client came to the architect with a request to combine two completely opposing concepts in a single structure, without a sense of clashing. One was an exterior like a sports car; the second was a natural interior featuring wood. The architects came up with a plan that eliminates hallways and instead allows easy access for all family members to all rooms from a central living-dining-kitchen area. Behind the distinctive triangular window, a loft serves as the husbands special den, furnished with a seat by Recaro. The name, which means gbowerh in Italian, reflects both the radical exterior designs homage to Italian sports cars, and the interiors warm atmosphere fashioned from wood.
