Text description provided by the architects. Llullucha is a peasant community in the province of Quispicanchi, in the Peruvian region of Cusco. Geographically isolated, it is located at 4,200 meters above sea level, offering views of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain from the village. It is home to 76 community families, a land of alpacas, Apus (sacred mountain spirits), and wide-brimmed hats, where Quechua is the predominant language.
