The City of Gramado, in partnership with the Institute of Architects of Brazil - Rio Grande do Sul Department (IAB/RS), is promoting the National Public Landscape Architecture Competition for the Redevelopment of the surroundings of Lake Joaquina Rita Bier.
The competition aims to identify the best proposal for upgrading one of the city's most well-known public spaces through landscape restructuring, integrating the lake's surroundings with the Department of Culture area. "We are fulfilling a request from the community to make Lake Joaquina Rita Bier a place for gathering and leisure," says Mayor Nestor Tissot.
The initiative seeks to ensure a transparent and democratic bidding process to gather projects from professionals across Brazil. This procurement method is based exclusively on technical quality criteria, with proposals evaluated by a specialized jury while ensuring the anonymity of the authors.
