The organizers of the National Public Architecture Ideas Competition for the Indigenous Women's House (CAMI) have announced an extension to the registration and submission deadlines. Architecture firms across the country now have until April 15 to register and until April 29 to submit their proposals.
Promoted by the Ministry of Women (MMulheres) in partnership with the University of Brasília (UnB), through the Women, Architecture, and Territory Laboratory (Lab Mulheres/FAU-UnB), and organized by the Institute of Architects of Brazil – Federal District Department (IAB/DF), the competition seeks to select the best preliminary design proposal for the construction of humanized spaces intended to support Indigenous women experiencing violence.
