In his latest works for Acerbis, Giacomo Moor imbues the two Alterego vertical sideboards with the mirage of suspension in a marvel of design ingenuity.
The full-height sliding door seems, impossibly, to support the weight, which is instead supported by the transparent methacrylate base. The contrast of wood and hand-brushed
metal underlines the hand-crafted identity of the sideboards. The two pieces share the same measurements and structure, but the asymmetrical positioning of the sliding door makes each one unique and ideal for pairing.
Frame
Cabinet with two hinged doors and sliding door that opens to reveal an additional compartment; the sliding system is integrated in the thickness of the top. Base in transparent methacrylate, H25cm.
Shelves included:
_ in the veneer of the item’s finish (76-cm compartment);
_ in grey transparent glass (51-cm compartment).
Self-supporting unit, it also has a wall safety anchor at the back.

_ frame in eucalyptus, black eucalyptus, swamp ash(*) veneer, or matt or glossy lacquer in the colours black, white, SW white, linen, sand, clay, burgundy, pink, dark green, mustard yellow, brick red and navy blue;
_ veneer interior in the veneer versions, matt lacquer in the lacquered versions;
_ sliding door: lacquered with brushed metal Nikel-15 finish(***) or glossy lacquer in the colours black, white, SW white, linen, sand, clay, burgundy, pink, dark green, mustard yellow,
brick red and navy blue.
