Experimental design courses are specific ASK activities. Workshop studios, team work, and individual projects focus on research aspects of architectural education.
Experimental Design 2, led by PhD Jan Slyk, from 4.04 to 15.04.2011 aimed to create and develop interactive space. A 1:1 scale installation was built to allow real-scale shaping, using spatial and programming tools.
The designed pavilion is digitally recording and interpreting the presence and movement of people, who are inside, and processes the effects to acoustics signals. The entire project was implemented with the involvement of minimum technical and financial resources, which was one of the challenges posed to the students.
