The aim of the international competition “Coastal Architectural Projects for seaside facilities” was to propose new structures and equipments for tourism and recreational purposes in the Sardinian coasts. The proposal by NO.MAD, an off the grid module, is referred to the beach of Liscia located in the north part of the island between the town of Santa Teresa di Gallura and Palau. They chose to develop the project in the protected natural area of the river of Liscia, challenged to confront the limits that this fact involves and resolve it proposing a structure energetically self-sufficient integrated in the existing landscape.
