The Seville 24/7 center, proposed by Ayrat Khusnutdinov & Zhang Liheng, adopts the famous Spanish traditions of street life. Their project would create a retreat from the harsh sun of Andalucia, Spain and extend the street life to 24 hours of the day and 7 days of the week. ‘Water Memory’, a proposal by Ayrat Khusnutdinov, Zhang Liheng, and Alexey Bychkov for the Rethinking Shanghai competition, focused on a strategic vision to manifest the undeletable importance of Suzhou creek waterfront to Shanghai. Using existing bridges as the main axis of their development and arranging high-rise commercial areas along them, they created a cohesive system that would connect now fragmented past and recent developments where water wouldn’t divide to play a connective role. Located in the heart of fashion and branded boutiques of Paris, the approach of the Paris Market Lab project by Ayrat Khusnutdinov and Gemawang Swaribathoro provides a unique experience. With the theme of ‘You Buy, We Cook’, they create not just another restaurant, but a vibrant social hub fused with a possibility to transform a regular visit to an adventure. Russian architect, Ayrat Khusnutdinov, shared with us his proposal for the Busan Opera House. The main idea behind the design was the outstanding natural environment: the sea and the mountains are features that are reflected in this project. They, not architecture, are prime actors in this scene; this is the reason why so much attention was paid to let people enjoy them, here the architecture is just a frame that defines this great picture.
