The Stone Company, a natural stone company in Zulte, underwent a true metamorphosis. The renovated display hall cum meeting and office space was decorated austerely and elegantly with the natural stone product as a calling card used in all its facets. Belgian practice BURO II was in charge of this renovation.

Conceived as an urban oasis, the new guestrooms of the W Hotel designed by BBG-BBGM offer a respite from the chaos of the city by immersing the guest in soothing colors and textures inspired by nature. Curving, organic shapes complement modern angles while crisp white is softened with tones from the forest and earth.

French architects Emmanuel Combarel Dominique Marrec sent us the transformation of this small apartment, with a clear strategy: Decompartmentalise the place so as to fit out an open plan and elude the demand of an extra room by conceiving in the center of the volume a suspended white cube which generates comic and disconcerting use situations.
