Dualiy Co, architecture in hi-def

By — Filed under: Videos

In the past, we have featured several architecture photographers, such as Cristobal Palma, Joao Morgado and Iwan Baan. But the web allows for much more than just images. This time, the guys over Duality Co -readers of our blog- shared with us their reel on architecture videos, a new service they are offering to architectural firms.

They shoot in High Definition, so the videos are good for web, film and tv.

It’s nice to see this buildings with more depth.

Any videos you have seen on the web that you’d like to share?

oh come on guys, this post is ridicules. trembling pans, shaking zooms, bad lighting, jerking movement … (i watched the big movie on their web-site, really unbelieveable). there is more to filmmaking than owning a HD camera and video editing software. please tell these people, who are so keen on selfpromotion, they should at least get a decent tripod first.

some good work can be found at http://www.architekturclips.de. and no i do not have anything to do with that site. i just found it a while ago.

It’s not a video on architecture, but I think it’s just as interesting.
It’s about the creation of the Eames Shell Chair:

Michael,
My name is Chris and Duality + Co. is my project along with my partner. All of your points are absolutely on point, and I can appreciate such a critical viewer. We’ve just started our company and we defiantly have a long way to go before we’re making films that look a gorgeous as some of the ones on architekturclips.de (thanks for sharing that site with me, its a great site and has loads of inspiration). Your criticism is very valuable to us, it will only help us to make our videos better and better. Keep up the good work. Seriously, if people weren’t as critical as you are, everything in the world would be just mediocre.

Hello Michael –
thanks a lot for hinting on our website!
We want to remind everybody, that it is an open platform for videos dedicated to architecture – and we are happy, if people from all over the world use it to share their work and perhaps built up a network? That is our dream…
