The site fronts on a new feeder road connected to a nearby expressway. It sits between two other professional buildings of matching colonial facades complete with artificial dormers and mass- produced Georgian columns. While the first inclination was to make an expressive contemporary insertion, upon reflection this approach would have competed as just another “sign” like the traditional works, just another façade treatment facing the street (read more…)

To create a fresh image for a nearly 40-year-old orthopedic practice upon its move into a renovated, reclaimed 1991 insurance office building prototype, all within a budget of less than $100 per square foot. Located in a busy commercial district, a vacant 19-year-old State Farm Insurance office building was reclaimed by an established orthopedic group seeking to redefine its practice (read more…)

The Brussels Region, the GOMB and Municipality of Anderlecht have created a new business zone on land covering 3.2 hectares. It is located on the Lenniksebaan, not far from the Erasmus Hospital and right next to a metro station and bus stop. A few weeks ago we introduced you one of the latest built projects by Frank Gehry, the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas.     Well, these are some of the most marvelous buildings I have ever seen and also compatible with medical needs and requirements. I wish one medical center like these in Gulf as well.
