Looking back at the Easter Pilgrimage 2011 at Ruta del Peregrino, the most important event of the year, we are pleased to announce the final step of the second construction phase (you can check the complete project over here).
This year, for the first time, the pilgrims were able to use the finished viewpoint by HHF Architects, offering a new way to experience the site.
The sanctuary by Tatiana Bilbao and the viewpoint by Christ&Gantenbein are under construction; their presence will mark the completion of the entire Ruta within a few months.

¡Extraordinarias obras de arte! Solo hace falta proveer de información y folletos a los hoteles, hostales y mesones; a los restaurantes y sobre todo a los templos, para que porporcionen los pasaportes que deberán irse sellando en los diferentes puntos. Es un esfuerzo espléndido de la Secretaría de Turismo, junto con los curadores y despachos de arquitectos. Sería fabuloso tener más señalización en el camino. Es una ruta que puede recorrerse en cualquier época del año, no solo en las fechas de peregrinaciones, pero es necesario encontrar señales que indiquen que va uno por el camino correcto. ¡Ya se hizo lo más difícil! Ahora hay que sacarle provecho. Poca gente sabe dar información y los pobladores no le están dando la importancia que merece. Ya volveremos para recorrer lo que en esta ocasión nos faltó. ¡Saludos!
