Uniqlo Megastore / Curiosity Curiosity has completed the design of the Uniqlo Megastore that has opened near Shinjuku station in Tokyo. The new design is strongly influenced by the Tokyo urban landscape and the large entrance, marked with three display towers, recreates a mini-Shinjuku city. As the lighting floor wraps the towers in a glow of light that illuminates the surrounding streets, the shop becomes an active element of the street: attractive, reliable, and secure (read more…)

Jenni Kayne boutique / Standard The former warehouse space, transformed via a series of sustainability-minded choices and an aesthetic programme that is minimalist yet comfortable, announces its presence on Almont Drive with a glowing glass corner above a foating display window (read more…)

NADiff a.p.a.r.t / Schemata Architecture Office This project is interior design of new space for NADiff, Art shop/gallery for contemporary art in Ebisu. They moved their main shop to this location from Aoyama. All books, operating system, and furniture from Aoyama shop were brought in to the new space. We made furniture in the same design but in different color. Then we divided the space in two zones, by placing the old furniture and the new one on each zone (read more…)

Conde Lumiares drugstore / Mobil M The Conde Lumiares drugstore has nothing to do with what we usually understand as a traditional pharmacy. But it was not always like this: the old shop had a suspended ceiling all the way long that reduced the available space to it’s half. You can guess the consequences: no light at all, a suffocating atmosphere and little presence of the shop window from the outside (read more…)

Ofimodul showroom / stación-ARquitectura Arquitectos + Armando Cantú he Project is a small showroom and the design center for a company specialized in office furniture. The site of the project is inside a terrain of commercial use where the furniture is manufactured for the Ofimodul Company in Monterrey N.L., Mexico. In this space both the first and the last steps of the manufacturing process of the furniture should be unified: the design stage as well as their exhibition and sale (read more…)
