WELCOME is a collaboration between the clothing brand Our Legacy and Très bien shop.  The approach was to develop a generic store concept that can be applied in different locations and contexts. The architectural concept involves a matrix of furniture, a total of 64 variants that derives from an analysis on dimensions and different ways on how to display the collections.

Expression and materiality of the furniture may vary from store to store. On Sibyllegatan, that also includes showroom and headquarters for Our Legacy, it´s a collage of different ambitions – cosmopolitan, intimate, flexible, cheap, exclusive, lush and poetic. A piece of the city.

A material palette of clear character and strong contrasts, such as concrete, birch, stained MDF, plastics, oregon pine, marble, plywood and steel are used to reinforce the ambition.

The idea is that the environment will shift between standing in contrast to and in some cases be fully allied with the store’s clothing and accessories.

* Location to be used only as a reference. It could indicate city/country but not exact address.

Kellie Cole says:

A piece of the city, lush, poetic… lovely words for a delightful place combining architecture and dress.
Nice work!
