so what would you have done? made a box? how do obtuse angles cheapen the effect?
however i do think that the interior and windows could have been done better. it seems too cluttered and a Persian rug in a modern house?

[...] The Ballandean House in Tobin Vinery in Queensland does not look like a typical Australian home. Designed by the architects from Arkhefield, it’s divided as a private residence and a bed-and-breakfast to accommodate guests without disturbing the privacy of its owners. A lavish interior with plenty of space, modern furnishings, beautiful lighting, an amazing pool side and a detachable sun-roof make the Ballandean House an amazing place that perfectly blends with the surrounding vineyards. It looks like the perfect getaway for a summer vacation. [via ArchDaily] [...]

Those leaning wooden posts are reminiscent of an internment camp.
Why not go the distance and add the electric barbed wire?

Corrugated panels and the obtuse angles cheapen the effect of what could have been a well executed home.

I like the effect. It looks like the building is falling backwards off of a cliff. Can anyone explain those giant posts, though? I'm not sure I understand them. It says they function to define outdoor space, but it seems to me like they dominate the view of the house in a strange way. Great pool too.

Pretty cool. I wish there were clearer overall's, though. It's hard to see how the different elements come together.
