Be Original Americas Student Design Fellowship

Be Original Americas, a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for authentic design, is offering two undergraduate students who have completed at least 2 years of study the opportunity for a 7-week immersive fellowship program to learn: Design / Research / Manufacturing / Sales / Marketing / Distribution / Digital Promotion / Public Relations.

Each section of the fellowship will focus on a different aspect of the process from the perspective of Be Original Americas member companies, supplemented by visits to their showrooms, headquarters, and factories in New York City and throughout the United States. The companies enrolled so far are: Bernhardt Design, Carnegie, Design Within Reach, Emeco, Flavor Paper, FLOS, Herman Miller, Rich Brilliant Willing, and Vitra.

At the completion of the Fellowship, each student will receive a $3,500 grant.

Last year’s edition received great press coverage from publications like Design Milk, Interior Design Magazine, Editor at Large, and Core77.
