“Academicians will never make endorsement for enterprise, but I came to this Country Garden press conference, because I don’t think I’m here for endorsement, instead, I’m here for a cause.” Academician Jiang Huancheng said, the construction land in many cities has already hit the ceiling, and building skyscrapers becomes inevitable. However, there are many problems in tall buildings, such as low efficiency, high energy consumption, poor safety and comfort, etc. Country Garden Forest City is definitely a beneficial exploration, endeavored to solve the discomfort in tall buildings, which means feet on the ground in popular words, and green, ecological and environmental-friendly in the official way.

Green architecture is a common pursue for Chinese and foreign architects. In Benjamin Warner’s point of view, architectures must be considered together with the environment, and also take social and cultural responsibilities, which can bear the test of time for even 100 years.

Roberto said: “When we make land development, the key point is that we need to keep it sustainable. We should compensate to the natural environment instead of destroying it.” They both felt headache on the congested city, but have positive views on the Forest City with dimensional and vertical green landscape design.
