Sattler Winery / Architects Collective The Erich Sattler Winery is located in the village of Tadten, a typical village in the Austrian wine region of Burgenland along the border to Hungary. The property is 12 x 120 m with two existing buildings and a new construction in between. Towards the centre of the village is an existing L-shaped residential building with a courtyard and public access for pedestrians. At the other end of the property in the direction of the vineyards is an existing manufacturing and storage facility with service entrance (read more…)

Casa da Torre Winery / Castanheira & Bastai Arquitectos Associados A winery is no longer what it used to be. Complete revitalization of the complex reinstates the manor house to its original condition; the outbuildings are replaced with new structures, adapted to new functions and technologies, all under supervision of Institute for Protection of Cultural Heritage (read more…)

Qumran Winery / Konkrit Blu Arquitectura The location for the project is a small hill in the municipality of Peñafiel, in the Castilian plateau. It is a small winery surrounded by a vast vineyard, with a strong presence of the immediate surroundings that overlooks the natural environment of the area: the Duero river, the pinewoods, the various towns in the valley, the reservoirs and the Peñafiel castle (read more…)

Navarro Correas Winery / aft Arquitectos The wine industry generates admiration. On the one hand the process is conceptually simple with centuries of tradition, but today it reaches amazing levels of sophistication by paying attention to even the smallest details. On the other hand it is an activity that intermingles the passion required by the craft traditions, with the excellence and professionalism that industrial activities demand (read more…)
