With the chance of criticizing with every project what you like or dislike about what you live every day.

© Jesus Davila

This project, without being the exception, questioned the richness of the space on Mexican land, and the lack of culture on the unrestrained demographic growth and oriented to saturate the land with constructions, when sometimes it’s not that necessary.

floor plans

When the intervened terrain has very limited measures, and it’s context, within 3 m height, has no climate nor esthetical use, then you’ll need to look for on higher heights, the views that favor the relationship between the building with the interior, by the means of making them totally pleasing, despite fact they are small.

Trevdor says:

Despite the interesting light play, is a bit overly sterile. Needs more contrast in material.

beautiful renderings. love the proportions. Just wish we had some operable windows or sign of fresh air. Other than that. Its a 10

    Brad Sutton says:

I would disagree about the renderings. While realistic renderings are getting better and better, it seems like each one has some tiny aspect that looks strange and ruins the whole shot for me.

That being said, the light play in the stairwell is poetic.

Actually, the best point is the use of the materials. You say that it needs more contrast, but exactly the use of the concrete is what makes it so attractive. It provides a monolithic conception that is what enhances solidity and resistance. It reminds me the idea of the hut, the cave.
In addition, it is a good wrap for a hot weather. If it is so hot there you need a good isolation.

Amanda Hu says:

A feminine tower house! The play with light using the cutout design detailing creates a really beautiful effect with the shadows inside the house. It’s like a temporary wallpaper. However, the actual living spaces are not very warm and welcoming, but maybe the breathtaking panoramic view from the bedroom makes up for it.
