J. Mayer H. Architects shared with us some images of this customs checkpoint, situated at the Georgian border to Turkey, at the shore of the Black Sea. With its cantilevering terraces, the tower is used as a viewing platform, with multiple levels overlooking the water and the steep part of the coastline, as well as for patrol officers keeping an eye on the border. In addition to the regular customs facilities, the structure also houses a cafeteria, staff rooms and a conference room. The building welcomes visitors to , representing the progressive upsurge of the country.

C’mon don’t just scroll down without bothering to read a few sentences before making stupid comments!!! What wrong with you.

      Here what you obviously missed:
-“With its cantilevering terraces, the tower is used as a viewing platform. In addition to the regular customs facilities, the structure also houses a cafeteria, staff rooms and a conference room.”-

I didn’t just scroll down. I carefully read it. Read it at the first time. Read it from your except. And re-read it again. So?
Still don’t understand what professional architectural terms have to do with this tasteless lego piece.
        I like posts below.
        “I know how to extrude”
        curvy foam model

This guys are smarter than me.
They didn’t waste their time to read it three times, but nailed it perfectly.

It says: “I know almost nothing about rendering and absolutely nothing about post-production”

        lol…true indeed

although I´m afraid Mayer aimed for this collage-like effect, considering his other works he seems to be more of a graphic designer than an architect

funny enough this guy wins lots of competitions and gets lots of assignments – although most professionals reject his works

Its too bad, A border crossing could could bring up some interesting thoughts and ideas. This doesnt seem to do that at all from what I can tell.
