		<description>yeah guys, if you look at their website they discuss how the facade is the structure. the exterior act as shear planes and the window pattern was delegated by the shear diagrams. still pretty sick. i love it.</description>

		<description>The facade is actually very OMA from what I hear.  The facade is the structure.  If you look at the belly of the building the punch window typology allows for more structural support to hold the cantilever and when you move upwards it becomes less to allow for more of a mullion system.</description>

I note that unlike CCTV or Jean Nouvels proposal for a tower next to MOMA that OMA have decided to conceal the engineering which allows for this canted form behind a very rational facade - a result of the conservative nature of the New York residential market ?</description>
