A few weeks ago, William O’brien Jr. shared with us his latest project: the Allandale House. When I opened the “photos” I was intrigued on how fast he came up with this house. But then I noticed they were renders, by one of the best digital artists out there: Peter Guthrie (who is also a reader of ArchDaily!).
I stumbled upon his work on Flickr, and then visited his blog where he has shared several tutorials that might be useful for you.
AD Recommends: Peter Guthrie, Architectural Visualization.

On occasion one comes upon an artist that simply takes your breath away.
Good to see Peter getting some attention for all of his efforts and contributions. His site is very informative, check it out.
I think it would be a good thing to feature viz artists on this site more often. Alex Roman, Viktor Fretyan and Red Vertex are just a few others that would be worthy of having on here.
Peter’s work is a true source of inspiration… This last project he made is no different!
I have to admit that I thought this was a built project (the photography of which had been heavy photoshopped) when I first saw it on another blog. Great rendering and the house is fresh.
