Text description provided by the architects. This tiny retail space is used to sell gourmet products. It was designed with the wine bottle’s beauty in mind, always searching for an amiable and intriguing atmosphere for the user.
The cellar becomes the central piece of the project, transforming the space visual appearance constantly while the consumers’ interactions take place. Leaving it open to the public intentionally is a fundamental part of the project, making it a highly interactive, functional and visual piece.
There was a constant search in ways wood could be intertwined with the products, achieving a balance between both the wood’s work and the products own graphic design. All the wood came from recycled pallets helping reduce cost and environmental impact.
The space offers a variety of services, ranging from wine purchasing to tasting, private events, etc. The limited area required strict modules, achieving an uniform look throughout the space that is pleasant to the eye.
