I have to agree with majchers. The exterior reflects a great way of re-interpreting a traditional form. The internal use of timber seems a bit excessive.

looks almost like a replica of the original Marie Short House by Murcutt. Even the program is similar to that of Murcutt’s. Probably the reason this residence looks as striking as it does!

Cool house but every time in a case like that I seem to be questioning the amount of plywood sheathing. It seems to be always a bit excessive and almost into ones nose. Especially on the ceilings. There is simply too much of it. Maybe tint it down (or up) a bit?

It reminds me a lot of Glen Murcutt’s Kempsey shorthouse.

I don’t why, but this house reminds me of the pink house by Sepka/HSH architects. This one’s more warm and inviting. the pink one was well – more fun. Both are in a way very subversive. Great Job!
