i really enjoy the tight long kitchen forward and back movement in a house makes a lot of sense moving around like birds feeding makes sense for outside a restricted movement that also places importance on the outside (close proximity to full walled windows) is my idea of a home. very impressed. abounded space is for manufacturing not living outside is free.

Knowing the town and the area where this project is constructed, there aren't any views that are particularly worth enhancing. This solution is extremely clever at balancing an inward orientation while augmenting natural light and what snippets of vista there happen to be. This must have required a great deal of thought and planning on site.

The planning is great, with those typically Italian features that are so often overlooked in other countries. For example, having a stirreria (ironing room) that is large enough to actually take care of clothing is a true luxury.

The interiors are very rational, even if they pay a little too much homage to the B&B Italia catalog. Still, those cupboard walls are an enormous convenience and they work. I could live the rest of my life without seeing another one of these yuppie gas fireplaces with little pebbles.

One thing particularly good about this project is the lighting. The ceilings aren't a perforated swiss cheese of downlighting cans. This is an excellent use of fluorescent lighting. I especially appreciate the exterior lighting along the kitchen wall that will have the effect of making that entire wall luminous at night.

The roof terrace is well done indeed. It must have been a joy getting the permits for the pool. The outdoor dining area is perhaps the best feature of the entire project and the cast table is a winner.

I like the exterior, though the interior is rather boring, very much like numerous examples from design and architecture magazines
