A temporary pavilion for an exhibitor during the ACE Construction Expo in Mumbai, India was modelled and constructed using parametric software.

The structure measuring 20 meters by 6 meters is made of 110 industrially die cut and laser-cut corrugated  members.
Slotted system slits ensured that members perpendicular to each other at intersections lock in enabling a rigid grid that has structural capacities.

Post the exhibition the cardboard was recycled by the manufacturer.

Well, when you have seen enough egg-crate designs, you will think that it is just another egg-crate.

simplified yet interesting enough. a perfect/simple solution to a simple design problem. you just can’t compare egg crates and this system. both might be of the same material employed in differently.
good job!

I think the roof is well executed. I would have like d to see the lights integrated into it somehow and perhaps more of a connection to the rest of the space..the floor and walls don’t really compliment it well. Over all cool.
