Text description provided by the architects. The work consist of an enlargement of an nursery and primary school of which number of students has recently grown. The design includes two different projects: a new classroom building for pre-school education and a sport hall. A strict scale and an accurate stitching with the surrounding buildings are needed due to the small size of existing free space.

The 3 to 5-year-old children´s building is located in the wider area of a triangular space with all classrooms facing south. Its floor plan is based on a trapezoidal geometric mesh that is more appropiated to the triangular shape of site, avoiding the usual monotony of the standard right-angled classroom buildings.

The building includes nine classrooms, presenting itself as two parallel pieces connected by a glazed corridor and sewn by an external system of beams. The basic cell of the tissue differentiates two tipes of classrooms, each with identical outdoor areas. Each classroom has an horizontal flat ceiling that shelters access, storage areas and toilets. When toilets has not facade, it gets top lighting and ventilation of skylights.

Collective spaces and teacher´s room are created by multiplying the scale of basic cell giving shape to a spacious lobby. This space fluenty guides to classrooms and is also used for psychomotor activity lesson. In the south area, the building reveals a leisure area for common use with lots of deciduous trees.
