In the midst of nature appear as a monolithic bodies the municipal Tanatory, concrete volumes of different heights, formwork wooden slats and tinted with the color of the vines plants and contrast the abstract reality and artificial building with the landscape around us.

The pyramids lanterns in waiting rooms and candle evokes mixed feelings in times of use of the building.

Souto Moura inspiration …. but , bad result!

    Souto de Moura remixed

I lol’ed so hard at ‘remixed’. Really though, can we even call this “inspired”? This looks undeniably a rip-off to me. Similar design – just downscaled, similar composition, similar colors. D:

The “original-copy” dualism seems to me a very huge topic nowadays (see Venice Biennale).

Terrible result and misuse of influence models. Nonsense language.

  • diaz romero

the building is an abstraction of another building designed by diaz romero before.
Obviously inspired in souto de de moura beetwen others arquitects, but it costs about ten times lower!, maybe you have to appreciate it from the LOW budjet only 140.000euros and 160m2.
¿que fue antes la gallina o el huevo?
