what do you mean? no raw materials? They used pure concrete and Polycarbonate could count as “raw” Material as well – not mentioning the Metal. Or do you only mean straw, Wood and Stone? ;-)
Anyway – I think it’s less noisy than expected in that context. And the PC gives a nice lantern-effect at night. Polycarbonate is in fact a quite sustainable material with good conditions to be used as translucent insulation – even if the architects in this case don’t seem to set big consideration on that. But hey- it’s in spain, not in finland…

Bravo to the unique cladding and tectonic form; also bravo to the more-interesting-than-most-other-examples concrete steps out side, which have a nice angle and well-placed greenery for softening the concrete’s hard surface.

A really bad example of Architecture with a lot of self estimulation and impsed architecture

I appreciate the verve of new Iberian philosophy -especially as it relates to public spaces and the craftmanship of building. However, is it Archdaily’s editorial responsibility for clearer translations of these texts? -or should an American, like myself, learn Spanish, or are software translation/”gisting” capabilities too limited?

Un edificio fuerte y perentorio que espero animará como los arquitectos destinados. Proyecto agradable.
