I wonder how many times I would have to post this before AD would do anything...

Okay, so I would like to offer up what I think is a great idea to AD. Instead of just posting the Sci-Arc and Columbia Lecture series, why not have a section of the site devoted to school lectures in general. There are great programs in places other than NY and LA. With AD being a great resource for arch info in general it could become a great way to find big architects coming through you area. School lectures are often open to the public, and as such, make for a great opportunity to see some really well known architects in person. It's too bad that the architects that travel around and speak don't do a concert tour type of schedule. But it would certainly be possible to do something like that here where you could search by school or by person and see where they are and where they will be speaking. How many of us have been disappointed to find out after the fact that we missed a Bjarke Ingels lecture or somebody else, only because we weren't aware of it?

Anybody else think that this is an idea worth pursuing?
