Although it is much more than the circular structure, that is really the only portion of the project that is memorable. I must say, however, that I really like the stainless steel wall/ceiling cladding in some of the hallways.

I like the way the building is "materialized" (integration of vegetation, use of steel cladding e.a.). It tells something about the various layers of the building, especially the feeling of being below the pavement. One of the coolest things about these kind of projects is the interaction between the different functions. Maybe this plan could be even better if they took a closer look at the visual relations between the lower and upper levels. The daylight openings are a perfect tool to achieve this according to my opinion. but looking at the pictures these openings solely function as light sources.
nonetheless a great mixed use project.

I completely agree with you, it is a very good urban piece. This is the kind of project that goes unnoticed by regular arch magazines.

Outstanding. Yes, it's a mall...the rare mall composed by actual architecture. The landscape component knits the civic fabric together without being overly corporate or cloying, and the entries and variety of spaces - wonderful green wall along the escalators - makes for a proper promenade. Well done, indeed.
