		<description>It&#039;s nice to see an increasing appreciation for the power of light and shadow in religious projects.  For a time it seemed, architects just tried to bludgeon emotion out of you with monolithic forms and massive scale; these students try to draw it out softly, but vividly, using nothing but cracks in the wall.</description>

		<description>Absolutely beautiful.  I think projects like these are a good way for students to find the essence of an architectural endeavor.  I was recently in Japan, and I&#039;ve determined that designing a small space that has as much impact as a large, over-designed space is infinitely more difficult but not lacking in any richness.  Not only that, it seems the process these students went through is something that a lot of projects on this site would benefit going through.</description>
