the internal planning of the units appears to be lacking. for example allowing ensuites in affordable housing, when in reality its rather a luxury - space can be better utilized in the living areas or bedrooms. moving through a laundry to access either the bedroom or bathroom also seems wasteful. in a single bedroom unit there is no reason why you cannot combine both the bathroom and laundry for better efficiency. It seems interesting but when the 'parts' are disengaged they don't seem to work particularly well. However, I do like the idea of allowing a courtyard for each unit - nice touch if the budget allows in typical publicly funded low-cost housing.

something about this design seems heavy and opaque--- the plans seem quite concealed and private...which i suppose could be a positive thing, but don't know if it is working quite right. i like the notion of accommodating for a larger shared exterior space.
