With the Bissell Powerforce Bagless Vacuum Cleaner, the filters are washable. Breathing inside the dust will not be a problem or even a concern once the canister and filter are cleaned with care. Which works well if just like me you hate buying new filters every 3 months, especially at twenty dollars or more a pop.
