Their was a group of us from our university in New Zealand who got to meet him and he showed us this project as well as a few competition projects that he was currently working on. He is amazing and his staff are really talented. He told us that this buildings form was generated by the negative space between a cluster of over lapping spheres or bubbles. Almost all of them are very original and very creative. For example, you can see the originality of his work especially in Taichung Metropolitan Opera House, Taiwan and Berkeley Museum, California. I am betting he will be the 2010 recipient of Pritzker prize. I wish our precious ArchDaily team could post the above mentioned projects. And always thank you, ArchDaily for posting unique projects.
